Giving all employees training that focuses on quality and consistency. Continuously improving the quality system and manufacturing process. Delivery is made promptly as scheduled. Decreasing the number of complaints from customers. Making sure that customers are happy with the products or services they receive is important. It is also important to provide the necessary assistance or attention promptly after delivering those products or services.
A Cutting Plan Layout will be made for the MSRL tank/vessel according to the customer’s drawing that came with the Purchase order. We will make a list of all the materials we need to buy for the cutting plan. We will follow the specifications mentioned in the drawing when selecting these materials. Orders will be made for the materials we need through the Purchase Department based on the list of things we want to buy. When we get raw materials at our factory, we will check them to make sure they are the right size, meet the standard, and have a good surface. The edges of the plate will be prepared by grinding so that they are suitable for welding, according to the applicable standard. The plates will be rolled to the desired size and shape, using a specific template for each tank or vessel. After rolling the plate, we will weld the joint together by tacking it in a few places. Before doing this, we will check the size to make sure it has the right diameter. The first weld in the joint will be done, any impurities will be removed, and then a test will be done to check for any holes or cracks in the weld. If necessary, the welding process will be done in layers over the center of the joint, based on the thickness of the metal plate. We will perform welding according to our specific welding procedure specifications (AR-WPS-001 / AR-WPS-002).
Rubber-lining surfaces will be thoroughly cleaned with high pressure water/air. Shot blasting (using granulated hard grits) will be used to clean all surfaces to be rubber lined from scales, rust, and dust to achieve a surface profile of 50 to 100 microns, which contributes to the increased bond strength of the rubber sheet to the metal surface. By using high pressure compressed air, the blasted area will be cleaned. It is imperative that all surfaces/welded joints prepared for rubber lining be checked again for projections/undercuts/cracks/blow holes before rubber lining is applied.
We will apply adhesive in a dust-free and controlled temperature area in order to prevent humidity and high temperatures. If the air humidity is too high, water particles will be condensed on the adhesive surface, and if the temperature is too high, the rubber sheet will lose its bond to the metal. A fine dirt, dust, or oil particle will be removed from the blasted area with thinner/hexane before adhesive is applied. In order to determine the viscosity of the adhesive, a viscometer suitable for the first, second, and third coats of the adhesive will be used. A minimum of 12 hours will be allowed (during summer) and a maximum of 24 hours will be allowed (during winter) between each coat of adhesive as per our standards.
Calendered and rolled elastic sheet (Un-cured and with the liner still settled to the surface of the sheet) of fitting thickness will be spread over a working table. The elastic sheet will be checked for surface wrap up (V or punch marks)/ sheet discuss. The elastic sheet will be cut shaping decreased edges to the specified shape and estimate utilizing fitting cutting apparatus. The decreased edges, the surface of the elastic sheet to be settled onto the metal surface, and the metal surface will be cleaned utilizing more slender / Hexane. The cut and cleaned elastic sheet will be joined on the surface of the metal to be elastic lined and after that the liner cloth will be expelled. The attached elastic sheet on the metal surface will be rolled and squeezed from the center of the sheet utilizing fitting squeezing device to guarantee appropriate evacuation of discuss and make culminate holding with the metal. will be taken after to total all required surface zone to be elastic lined with legitimate covering joints as per IS 4682 Portion 1/BS 6374 Portion 5. All flange surfaces will be elastic lined atleast 1mm more than the desired thickness as an remittance for machining/sandering after curing/vulcanizing. All elastic lined zone will be checked for isolated spaces and start tried for pinholes. The elastic lined tank/vessel will be cleared out for settlement (atleast for 24 hours) and once more assessed for any air/gas locks or pinholes some time recently vulcanizing. Elastic lining will be carried out as per IS 4682 Part1/BS 6374 Portion 5.
Autoclave curing/vulcanizing cycles vary from compound to compound as per our standard. Particular chart (Temperature Vs Weight Vs Time) for vulcanizing/Curing Cycle of that specific elastic lined tank/vessel (as per the benefit condition and the elastic compound) will be issued to the kettle administrator. Vulcanizing of the elastic lined tank/vessel will be carried out beneath controlled weight and temperature (as per chart) in an Autoclave utilizing immersed steam keeping up a most extreme temperature of 135 to 140 degree centigrade. After completion of the cycle, the Autoclave will be brought down to air temperature by blowing down steam and weight. The autoclave will be opened as it were after atleast an hour after blow down.
We will test the whole rubber lining of the tank/vessel to check if it is hard, airtight, securely attached, and free from any sparking issues. In spark testing, we use a voltage of 5KV/mm for regular rubber and 1. 5 to 2 KV/mm for rubber with carbon/graphite. The whole surface of the flange will be worked on with machines to make it flat, but only up to 1mm thick. Additionally, all the edges of the flange will be made smoother to prevent them from being sharp. After the inspection, testing, and finishing are done, if necessary, the vessel will be tested using hydraulic or vacuum methods as stated in the drawing, purchase order, or service condition of the tank or vessel. We will clean the areas without rubber lining by blasting them and then paint one coat of red oxide on all the tanks and vessels with rubber lining. If the customer asks, we will blast the outside of the object and add layers of paint. Lastly, the ship will be carefully examined and tested for electric sparks before it is packed. All the open areas like nozzles and manholes that are outside will be covered with soft rubber or polythene gaskets. These gaskets will have steel or wooden covers. The vessels that are packed correctly will be loaded onto a container or vehicle without causing any harm to the rubber lining. We will use wooden blocks to protect things during transportation and we will tell the carrier how to be careful with them. The rubber-lined tank/vessel will go through inspection, testing, finishing, handling, and transportation following the guidelines of IS 4682 Part 1 / BS 6374 Part 5.
